TM Language Bundle v5 beta
NOTICE: Not all of the information corresponds to the latest Bundle version, please refer to TXP bundle version 07
This bundle although beta is fully compatible with r1202 of your TM install. Completely revised and customized already a little. To install it just double click on it from a Finder window. To view what the various shortcuts are just open the Bundle Editor, pressing ⌃ ⌥ ⌘ B,select the Bundle Name on the left and expand the Bundle Items. People sometimes get confused, why their documents won't open in their proper Language. This is sometimes the case, if you view documents in a different Language scope, than the one which their file name implies, or when their is no filename supplied in the selected document. Then TM remembers these instances and will open a document in the last selected Language scope. If that is the case, then reselect the proper Language scope by going to the bottoms toolbars popup-menu right left to the Gear Icon.Select each separate Bundle Item, to view their contents and keyboard equivalents.
Below you can see also the menu Structure, shown when the Textpattern Bundle Name is selected in your Bundle Editor

TMBundle for Textpattern version 0.5 beta
Back to TOCI spent the last couple of days mostly to fix some ugly bugs, complete the Tool assortment and refine the scopes. The learning curve for all this is pretty steep and the hours spent many. However, the windows switching to a MAC was well worth it, and I won't regret it. Not only has TM significantly improved my typing skills, on I also pretty much feel very happy with it.I wish I would have tried it many years ago .Fortunately, it will soom allow me to get all my lost time back, by speeding up things. You will find, that most of the Tools are more Article body related, since those where the ones at Hand needed for my Experimental Blog. All of the display and Interference problems are fixed, apart from the cases, where the Language Grammar finds empty quoted strings. Scopes and Completions are refined and Folding Start/Stop markers working again on all TXP container tags. There is also a new Theme, much much nicer this time, with it's old name back, which is TEXARI
Changes
Back to TOCI reassigned a couple of key equivalents to make them more OS-X logical, mainly for commands and snippets, that do wrapping
Fixes
Back to TOCLanguage rules in Grammar no more interfere with each other. All generic plugin tags work properly. Fixed a couple of RE in different repo Items. Enabled completions on those form tags that have their file names provided as custom attribute values for those article, file, comment, misc, and link forms that need them. Folding Start and Stop markers working on all TXP container Tags.
Usage
Back to TOCProbably a good Idea is to set up a couple of Environment variables under prefs/advanced/shellvariables as shown in the screenshot below. Some of them are needed also for other bundle Items, and two for this Bundle. If those are not set up, some commands will not function.
Preferences
Back to TOCSpellchecking is disabled on all Tags, and enabled on Text.
Templates
Back to TOCThere are three template files one for Page Templates, one for Articles and one for Forms. Can be customized to your likings. Don't set forget to set up the Shell variables under prefs like $TM_organization_namefor instance.
drag commands
Back to TOCThere is a couple of new commands, and yes some of them are shamelessly stolen from elsewhere and modified to my taste
There are two drag commands, one for files and one for images. The former will insert a TXP download form tag, you still need to insert the image ID number, which you might not know beforehand. This is set to zip file endings. The latter drag command inserts an XHTML hardcoded image link, once again you need to insert the Image ID number.
Macros
Back to TOCSome of the Macros in the previous version, have been removed and replaced with much better ones.
The tabbing macro is already known from the previous article.
The next two will automatically generate a complete HTML TOC with all source and target anchors and Header Titles from a selected Text list. This assumes, that you use only word characters and preferably no spaces. Also this only works on a new empty document.
The third macro does the same, but also inserts the navigation links.
Commands
Back to TOCThe reformat code command is borrowed script, that will reformat your source code nicely, to make it human readable.
The sent to transmit command is just borrowed from the Transmit Bundle so it is easy to see the shortcut from the Bundle Editor
The open backend command will open a small control screen, that allows you to open you local and remote backends. Need to be customized, for the proper URLS in the commands field.
There is also a command to opens your httpd.conf, so you can set up some virtual hosts.Important:This has nothing to do with your default httpd.conf file on your MAC. It is only if you have MAMP installed in your Application Folder. To get the proper Syntax highlighting, you need the Apache Bundle.
Generate Headers from selection generates Headers and their ID's from a selection
The wrap each selected Line in open/tags command, is customized in a way, that allows you to transform a multi-line selection into a list and generate anchors that can be removed if needed through backward deleting, the second Tab stop variable, one downside here, is that the target links are not mirrored accordingly and have to be corrected afterwards, You can do so using the Macro that is bound to the Enter key and cycles through all the attribute values.
Download
Back to TOCSince there are some changes and refinements on the scopes, it'd recommend to install the Theme as well. It will make your life much easier.
To install the Bundle and the Theme, just double click on them and you will be asked to overwrite them.
